About Western Mountains Fly Fishing

Bob's resume includes seven years guiding and managing a fly shop on the Ausable River in New York State. Now he is home in Maine where he has been a Registered Maine Guide for over 20 years. By focusing his time on the rivers and ponds of the Western Mountains of Maine, he can provide adventurous and safe wade and drift boat fishing in some of the best Brook Trout and Landlock Salmon waters in the country. His fishing has taken him from the Adirondacks to Maine, Montana, Alaska, the Bahamas, and also the Patagonia Region of Chile where he has operated a fly fishing lodge. Bob and his guides can show you a very special fishing adventure here in "his backyard"...Please come visit...!
