Lake Zwerner Trail
The trail seems like it's going to be along a highway all the way but it's actually a very nice wooded trail with steep sections. Wear your hiking boots and bring sticks. It does however say it's a loop trail which it is but the last portion around the lake actually is along the semi busy road. About Lake Zwerner Trail
The trail seems like it's going to be along a highway all the way but it's actually a very nice wooded trail with steep sections. Wear your hiking boots and bring sticks. It does however say it's a loop trail which it is but the last portion around the lake actually is along the semi busy road. You are able to hop over the guard rail and walk in the grass but one section you can't. That being said it's still a very nice trail around the lake but a little disappointing at the end because of the road. If you wanted to you can turn around and go back through woods for a good 6 miler. The bonus is the pretty lake with ducks that will eat out of your hand. Bring some duck food or have lunch at the picnic area right next to the parking lot.Reviews
