Morgan Falls Overlook Park

Beautiful views of the Chattahoochee river. There are 2 different areas. The first spot you come to has the great views with swinging seats to relax and watch the water. Has a paved walkway. There is a great playground and a pavilion for picnics. There are restrooms. There is a trail and the trail head is to the left of the restroom. The problem was we had no idea how long the trail was. About Morgan Falls Overlook Park

Beautiful views of the Chattahoochee river. There are 2 different areas. The first spot you come to has the great views with swinging seats to relax and watch the water. Has a paved walkway. There is a great playground and a pavilion for picnics. There are restrooms. There is a trail and the trail head is to the left of the restroom. The problem was we had no idea how long the trail was. The map said it had 3 overlooks. We started out and got to what might have been an overlook but we weren't sure. We turned around because trail was really muddy after a big rain. It was a nice walk in the woods. The parking lot is not that big so I am guessing it would be hard to get in during the summer. Further down the road on Georgia Power property is access to the river and a dog park. Another small parking area.
