About Almaden Lake Park
Visitors to Almaden Lake Park can enjoy activities that include hiking, jogging, and cycling along 30 acres of lake and 65 acres of land. Others enjoy a nice family or company picnic and play volleyball, toss horseshoes. Bocce ball courts are also available on a first come first serve basis, you will need to provide your own equipment. Court etiquette is expected. Almaden Lake Park is divided into two sides referred to as the Eastside, which runs parallel to Winfield Boulevard and the Westside of the park along Almaden Expressway. Connected to the south end of Almaden Lake Park is the Los Alamitos Creek Trail, which continues to Santa Teresa County Park. This 3.9- mile trail features a fitness course and takes you by scenic agricultural lands and riparian communities. Connected to the north end of the park is the Guadalupe River Park trail which travels below street level for a smooth .9 mile stretch to the percolation pond located under Highway 85.Reviews
