About Adams Lodge Outfitters

Adams Lodge Outfitters is a family owned and operated wilderness outfitting business catering to the avid outdoors person interested in hunting and fishing the Flattop Wilderness Area of the White River National Forest. Adams Lodge Outfitters operates June through early November in all three of the Marvine Drainages of Game Management Unit 24, lying east of Meeker, Colo, in the Northwest corner of the state. At Adams Lodge Outfitters we want you to have as many choices in enjoy the Wilderness outdoors in the summer as you do in the fall. We set a summer wall tent camp at the Upper Marvine Lake and at Fish Lake. These camps offer excellent lake fishing for the novice and the experienced fly fisherman, along with limited stream fishing which offers big challenging fish. Both of these wall tent camps come complete with everything you and your family will need, including boats at Marvine, except your food and own personal equipment. We pack you in horseback, to the camp and let you use the camp as you wish. These are excellent family trips, many times taking in three generations of a family for a great 3-5 day trip. We also offer many variations of 3-5 day trips summer trips from pack trips, to multiple lake fishing trips, to fully staffed fish camp. All our trips start with a horseback ride to the activity chosen for your group. We will help you as much as you like, or leave you to enjoy the trip as you want. Summer is our favorite time, we want to share that with you! Our hunting season starts with Archery and runs through the first three Rifle seasons. We are able to operate in all three of the Marvine Drainages, and on the rim of the FlatTops, GMU 24. We will also try to tailor a hunt to your needs, we can provide fully guided rifle hunts, drop camp archery or muzzleloader and multiple drop camps for the rifle seasons. Additionally we will do equipment drops and game pack out for the more individual hunters. All our camps are at least an hour horseback ride in from the campground, at elevations in excess of 9,000 feet, giving you immediate access to the White River Elk Herd, the largest in the lower 48. Whatever you chose, guided or drop, this will be an Elk Camp to remember!
