Sudden Impact Outfitters offers a premier Big Game Hunting experience in Northwest Colorado. We offer hunters the chance to experience the wilderness of Colorado, while enjoying the rich wildlife of Elk country, near Meeker Colorado. We offer two types of hunts. A fully guided private ranch hunt and a DIY drop camp style hunt. For both hunts, we're able to offer a very exclusive hunting opportunity by limiting the number of hunters we take each season. This allows us to maintain minimal hunting pressure on our local Elk herds. Fully guided hunts take place on our private ranch that many elk call home during hunting season. Are ranch hunts include meals and lodging on the ranch. The drop camps are especially suited for hunters who prefer a "Do it yourself" style hunt. We provide our hunters with pack in and pack out services which includes your gear and game. We provide a wall tent, cook stove, cots and firewood.This hunt takes place on BLM with a special use permit. Whether you hunt with a bow, muzzleloader or rifle we can accommodate you.
