Cow Creek Outfitters in under new ownership. Roy Jackson, owner of Jackson Outfitters, LLC and his wife Milissa recently purchased and are running Cow Creek Outfitters. Big game hunting in southern Colorado is a GREAT experience. Both the majestic elk and trophy mule deer are legendary to the Cow Creek Outfitters hunting area. Travel to the high country via horseback and pack horse spending the duration of the hunt in wall tent camps in the heart of elk, mule deer and big horn sheep country. Our experienced staff will help make your hunt a successful and enjoyable experience. Cow Creek Outfitters are licensed (#2942), bonded and insured Colorado outfitters. We are operating under a special permit from the US Forest Service for the Uncompahgre National Forest. Cow Creek is based in the Uncompahgre Wilderness Area of the Rocky Mountains near Ridgway, Colorado in Unit #65.
