Twisted Tine Outfitters is licensed, permitted, and insured. We have nearly 100 years combined of hunting and guiding experience in Western Colorado and are excited to share the exciting moments and be part of your hunting memories with you! We offer great accommodations for your hunt. Hunts will include almost all of the BLM in Colorado Trophy Game Unit 40. This unit is located near Glade Park, Colorado. Twisted Tine Outfitters also has access to private ranches. Private ranches will typically have less hunting pressure than the BLM and may be a great option for your hunt of a lifetime! This unit is known for 350+ Rocky Mountain Elk and 190+ Mule Deer! Whether you are hunting private or public land, every hunter will have a very good opportunity to fill a Colorado trophy tag (and have a lot of fun!). Another area you can choose to hunt is Game Unit 41, commonly known as the Grand Mesa. These hunts will be BLM land only. The Grand Mesa is an over-the-counter bull elk unit. For deer, preference points are typically needed. The Grand Mesa has the largest elk herd in the State of Colorado.
