About Lost Solar Outfitters, LLC

Lost Solar Outfitters is owned by Gary Stagner. Gary is a local from Craig, Colorado and has been hunting Northwest Colorado all of his life. Gary's family has been in western Colorado since the 1800's. We specialize in Northwest Colorado elk hunts in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. Lost Solar Outfitters' base camp is located on the South Fork of the White River. We operate on the White River National Forest under special permit from the U.S. Forest Service. Our permits are in Colorado Game Unit (GMU) 24, South of the North Fork of the White River. We are located in Meeker, Colorado, just 35 miles from the Flat Tops Wilderness Area, via the Flat Tops Trail Scenic Byway. We also offer full service Summer pack trips. Your cook, wrangler, and horses are all furnished. Just bring your sense of exploration and we'll be on our way for your summer adventure.
