He then moved to Idaho and started guiding Elk, Moose, Lion and Bear hunters in Cayuse in 2003. Dan is the current owner and managing partner of Cayuse Outfitting. Cayuse Outfitting offers Elk, Bear, Moose and lion hunts. Wolf hunts can be added to any hunt we offer as long as you buy a tag. The Cayuse base camp is located sixty miles up the North Fork of the Clearwater river from Pierce, Idaho and is accessible from either Pierce, Idaho or a short three hour drive from Missoula, Montana by way of Hoodoo Pass.
