About Upper Canyon Outfitters (UCO)

We offer guided and unguided hunting trips for archery or rifle season. Our hunts include elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, antelope, and mountain goat. The Ruby River is one of the best uncrowned waters in Montana. Our fly fishing guests have the exclusive use of over two miles of the Ruby River and a private spring fed pond on the ranch. The lower part of the river contains predominantly Brown Trout, while the upper river contains Rainbows, Cuts, Browns and Grayling. We are fortunate to be in such a central location for some of Montana's best fly fishing. No place has better trail rides than the scenic upper Ruby Valley! Come explore this region like it was explored 100 years ago. Horseback riding adventures start right at the ranch and offer you a splendid way to see and experience the spectacular mountains surrounding our ranch. Upper Canyon Outfitters offers a variety of horse activities, whether a novice rider or horse enthusiast, the ranch accommodates all guests with a ride to suit their skill level.
