About Oak Valley Outfitters

Oak Valley Outfitters was established in 1987 after Andrew Milan decided to quit riding bulls to pursue his love for the land and being outdoors. Andrew earned his associates degree in Wildlife Management and Biology from the Wildlife Management Institute. In 2009 Dane bought Oak Valley Outfitters from his now step-father Andrew Milan who was looking to start heading toward retirement. Now Dane primarily runs Oak Valley Outfitters with Andrew helping out part-time. Dane has been hunting and learning from Andrew for 10 years. There are many local whitetail enthusiasts that have been hunting in the east central region of Nebraska for many years pointing our clients in the right direction. These are the people we will use when there are more than six hunters to ensure there are only 3 clients per guide. Oak Valley Outfitters uses traditional hunting methods such as tree stands, ground blinds, and spot and stalk. The land we hunt includes river bottoms, valleys, and flats with heavily wooded areas surrounded by alfalfa, corn, mixed pastures, turnips, and winter wheat. We have 9,400 acres of land between leased and owned available to hunt throughout Burt, Cuming, Douglas, Dodge, and Washington County.
