Your hunt of a lifetime begins at Northwest Gander Outfitters, Experience it for yourself! Built in 2004 our road accessed lodge is equipped with ATV'S and a 4x4 truck that is used to travel 100's of miles of abandoned logging roads which lead to prime habitat for moose and black bear. Northwest Gander Outfitters main lodge has all the comforts of home, wood burning stoves for heat, comfortable sleeping for up to 6 hunters and features running water and a hot shower. We run a generator to power lights and other modern amenities, Wi-Fi is also available to stay connected with friends and family. You will surely never leave the table hungry. In our full service kitchen we employ a fulltime cook that prepares delicious traditional Newfoundland meals as well as many other homecooked dishes during your stay. After a full day in hunters heaven, it is the perfect retreat. Hunters are provided with one of our experienced guides that will lead you to an adventure that will last a lifetime. The head guide has 15 years experience and a vast knowledge of calling and stalking moose in the rugged Newfoundland terrain. Each guide field dresses and retrieves your animal in preparation for them to skin, clean, quarter and cover in protective wrap. All our staff are First Aid and CPR certified.
