Arrowhead ridge is a prime white-tailed deer bow hunting facility located on the Apple creek watershed areas of Greene & Macoupin Counties, Illinois, near the small town of Athensville, Illinois. Ready and able to provide hunters with the opportunity for world class hunts with ample Pope & Young bucks located in the area, Arrowhead Ridge has just recently been opened to selective trophy hunters, having been private land for the Loftus family for over 19 years. Proprietor, Jim Loftus, has painstakingly created a rustic lodge atmosphere, with all modern conveniences to ensure that your stay is both enjoyable and memorable. Arrowhead Ridge consists of over 1200 acres of pristine timberland through which wildlife are free to roam. Huntable areas are comprised of mature timberland, crop and CRP property.Regular crops like corn, soybeans, alfalfa, Milo, wheat & clover, along with tons of acorns and strategically planted food plots ensure optimum nutrition. Arrowhead ridge uses and recommends Primetine mineral supplements as part of their deer management program.
