About Cross C Ranch

The Cross "C" Ranch is a family owned and worked outfit. We are located in the Laramie Range, 30 miles West of Wheatland, Wyoming. Our Ranch is a 17,000 acre privately owned and operated outfitting and cattle ranch. We have managed the ranch for trophy mule deer, white tail deer, elk, and antelope for over 25 years. The ranch runs 150, more or less, mother cow/calf pairs and puts up hay from its beautiful river bottom alfalfa meadows. We are also proud to have 2 large rivers as well as several ponds, creeks & springs, and water stock tanks on the property. From October through January the Cross C Ranch provides guided trophy gun hunts run out of our centrally located hunting lodge. We are one of the oldest outfitters in Wyoming, giving us years of experience. The beautiful Laramie River and Bluegrass Creek offer pristine waters with large brown and rainbow trout providing excellent fishing opportunities. Excellent trophy Mule Deer flourish on the ranch along with a very large local herd of Elk on nearby Squaw and Moonshine/Government Mountains. Our Elk population in Area 7 has truly become nationally renown, and large bulls are routinely taken on the ranch to support this. We also have several local Antelope herds that provide great trophy opportunities that come to be expected from the Great State of Wyoming. Our ranch offers the hunter a rare opportunity to hunt for multiple species with a near 100% success rate. Our big game hunts are limited and fully managed to allow us to maximize a trophy opportunity for everyone.
