About Moose Island Outfitters

We offer guided hunts for BLACK BEAR, WOLF, MOOSE, DEER & LYNX as well as great fishing and grouse hunting. We have an exclusive guide territory of 450 sq. miles of prime, remote habitat in management units 602 & 604. We are a small, personal business with myself and my partner Tom Harvie being the owner operators. I personally guide on all hunts as well as Tom; along with our outstanding guides & cook to ensure your trip is indeed, The Trip of a Lifetime. Complete services are provided with all hunts: all you need is your guns, ammo & personal items. Our camp features cozy sleeping cabins that hold 2-3 people, a hot shower/flush toilet bathroom and a main cabin for those gourmet meals. At Moose Island Outfitters, we provide a quality hunt with excellent accommodations, staff, food and equipment that makes our competition envious and our clients friends. Moose Island Outfitters is licensed to conduct Guided hunts for Moose and Black Bear within a remote 450 sq mile area of the Nechaco basin in Central British Columbia, Canada. By limiting our tours to 4 hunters at a time, we offer quality personalized hunts.The area has been only lightly hunted, and has a very healthy game population. We are situated 4 hours west of Prince George, the geographic center of British Columbia. Our hunting territory is unique as the majority our territory is located on a peninsula, only accessible by boat or float plane. This makes it very difficult for anyone other than our clients to hunt the area.
