I am a life long Alaskan and I have been hunting and trapping in the Alaskan bush all of my life and I know it like the back of my hand. Red Bear Guides and Lone Ridge Lodge is owned and operated by Master Guide Creig Butler. I am a life long Alaskan and I have been hunting and trapping in the Alaskan bush all of my life and I know it like the back of my hand. I enjoy taking clients hunting, fishing, back country skiing and camping. I guide for Moose, Coastal Brown bear, Black bear, Wolverine, Wolf and Ptarmigan. We hunt Brown bear in April, May by snow machine and spot and stalk. Black bear May/Oct, bait stand and spot and stalk. Moose Aug/Sept our average size is 60 inches. My favorite hunting is for Ptarmigan! This is done in the winter when the birds bunch up and one can get multiple shots off in a day either by snow machine, snow shoeing or my favorite is back country skiing. You will fly 45 minutes from Anchorage to our Lodge, where you will find everything you need to make your hunt the trip of a lifetime!
