Wilderness Connection, Inc is a Montana outfitting business specializing in Yellowstone vacation rentals, Yellowstone area guest ranch operations, big game hunting north of Yellowstone National Park, and summer horseback rides. Operating on the historic Stermitz Ranch north of Yellowstone National Park in the scenic Cinnabar Basin. Located only 4 miles from the border of Yellowstone National Park, our area abounds with game. The area has an abundant population of elk (Yellowstone's northern herd population ranges from 12,000 to 20,000 elk), deer, bear, mountain goats, and sheep. Rob and Stacy Stermitz of Wilderness Connection welcome you to the Stermitz Ranch. Wilderness Connection has been treating guests to the splendor of Montana's great outdoors for over 35 years. Rob is a fifth generation Montanan; Stacy, born in Nebraska, came to Montana as soon as she could (she was two years old)! They enjoy the family ranch with their boys, who are 6th generation Montanans and the 5th generation of Stermitzes to call the ranch in Cinnabar Basin their home.
