About Kodiak Adventures Lodge

Kodiak Adventures Lodge is a full service, remote ocean front lodge. Guest access is by float plane only 50 air miles south of Kodiak City. Our nearest "neighbors" are 26 boat miles away in the little village of Old Harbor. Kodiak Adventures Lodge is owned by the Carroll and Miller families. Larry and Paul grew up in Minnesota. Over the years they backpacked, fished and climbed mountains throughout the West. Larry and Shelly Carroll and their boys, James and Samuel, have a passion for outdoor adventures. Their sense of adventure led them to Alaska many years ago. Larry's outdoor adventures have included enduring the grueling 1,000 mile Yukon Quest Sled Dog Race from Fairbanks, AK to Whitehorse, Yukon Territories, five times. He has also guided in Idaho, and Alaska for big game. Larry loves to fish and duck hunting is his passion.
