About Landwehr Outfitters

We primarily outfit rifle hunters for trophy mule deer and antelope. We have been in the outfitting business for the past 30 years. Our hunter success rate has remained between 95% and 100%. It is not unusual for us to see 10 to 15 bucks a day. In addition we offer bow hunts for elk on a limited basis (nine per year). Our operation is small. We feel we can better serve our clients this way. We are in camp at all times and actively guide our hunters. We feel that the personal attention is one of the keys to the success of our business. We usually limit the number of hunters in camp to six per hunt, but we can handle eight if your party is that large. We own a house and adjacent mobile home in Jordan, Montana and headquarter out of there. Jordan is located about 175 miles N.E. of Billings, Montana. You can count on a warm bed to sleep in and the comfort of a hot shower after a long day's hunt. Our kitchen is equipped with the conveniences of home and there will be plenty of good food.
